Coordinating effort, evaluating the effectiveness of collective investments in catchment and waterway management and stewardship
Reliable information on the diversity and scale of catchment and waterway management activities and investments has been insufficient. South East Queensland is luckier than most, with 25+ years of monitoring & reporting on waterway health through the Report Card. The Stewardship Framework has been developed to capture action a range of things needed to help track and make decisions for the region. This includes:
We have already had a number of people and catchments submitting information, so the data collection and mapping is already starting to be populated. These numbers will increase as more groups from across the region submit their data to the stewardship initiative as the project grows in the coming years.

We are proud to announce that the framework, data collection and mapping is now live - and already displays data from a number of regions and groups who jumped in to be part of the initial release. We look forward to seeing the visualisations as more submit their data (click here to submit yours).
Environmental Health Monitoring Program
