Robert Strickland, Chief Financial OfficerRobert leads Healthy Land & Water's financial portfolio as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 20 years of executive leadership experience across the not-for-profit, health, government and commercial sectors. A CPA-qualified finance professional and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), he has held Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and senior executive roles, providing strategic advice to Boards and CEOs while leading finance, governance and corporate services functions.

Throughout his career, Robert has guided organisations through complex funding environments, strengthened governance and risk management frameworks, and delivered significant organisational improvement and transformation initiatives. Most recently, he served as Director Corporate Services for a large and complex health organisation, with responsibility for finance, human resources, information technology, procurement, business performance and other corporate services functions.

At Healthy Land & Water, Robert is focused on supporting our people, strengthening systems and processes, and ensuring the organisation is well positioned to deliver on its purpose. Known for his collaborative and practical leadership style, he combines strong technical expertise with a people-focused approach, fostering accountability, continuous improvement and long-term organisational sustainability.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Business with majors in Accounting, Law and Computing, is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
