- Look out for signs of pollution such as discoloured or strong-smelling water and debris.
- Avoid swimming near stormwater drains and floodwaters.
- Adhere to signs and warnings.
- Avoid entering waterways after heavy rainfall – sewers can overflow into stormwater pipes and into waterways.
