- Innovations for bioretention basins in Townsville: Jason Lange from Ecocentrics shared innovative interventions trialled in bioretention systems, including the use of weeds to improve WSUD asset performance.
- The hidden potential of soil: Kylie Drapala from Logan City Council unpacked the critical role of soil organic matter in bioretention filter media, sharing insights on their experiences from Logan City.
- Trialling bioretention for combined stormwater and wastewater treatment – experiences and lessons learnt: Paul Dubowski from Urban Utilities shared learnings and experiences from trialling a combined stormwater and wastewater bioretention treatment system.
