Vanessa Durand, Environmental Project Manager - Engineering

Vanessa brings 17 years of engineering and project management expertise to the delivery of nature-based solutions that enhance the long-term stability of South East Queensland’s waterways. She leads a diverse portfolio of waterway stabilisation projects, including streambank restoration, sediment and nutrient runoff reduction, revegetation and weed management strategies.

Vanessa is passionate about navigating technical challenges and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver sustainable, high-impact outcomes for our catchments.

Vanessa completed her Master of Engineering in 2008 and her Master’s in Integrated Water Management in 2016.
