Contributing a valuable perspective from Gecko Environment Council Association Inc to the Healthy Land & Water's SEQ Catchments Members Association.
As a member of Healthy Land & Water's SEQCMA Board and Gecko’s dedicated Secretary since 2001, Rose Adams passionately fulfils her role.
While administrative tasks like paperwork and filing are part of the job, Rose finds fulfilment in representing the organization at public meetings and engaging with elected officials. As an environmental advocate, she believes in speaking out against threats to the natural world and advocating for improved environmental protections. Rose recognizes that environmental concerns extend to the quality of life in urban areas, emphasizing access to public spaces and transparent governance. Grateful for the chance to collaborate with fellow activists, Rose is committed to building a better world through collective action.
