Erosion and Sediment Control Community of Practice Webinar

Healthy Land & Water’s Water by Design program welcomes government and industry stakeholders to an online Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Community of Practice workshop.

This workshop will provide an opportunity to hear from ESC experts, share issues and innovative ideas, and network with stakeholders from across Queensland.

Featuring guest speakers from the Queensland Department of Environment, Science and Innovation (DESI) and the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) who will present on changes to ESC policy and guidance, including:

  • Changes to the Environmental Protection Act 1997 relevant to stormwater pollution and ESC.
  • Updates to the IECA Best Practice ESC manual.


There will also be an opportunity for organisations to:

  • Provide updates on their current ESC programs.
  • Raise ideas to improve ESC policy and practices.
  • Suggest topics for future ESC Community of Practice workshops.
