Online (an access link will be shared closer to the event date)
Healthy Land & Water’s Water by Design program welcomes government and industry stakeholders to an online Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) Community of Practice workshop on the Biology of Bioretention Systems.
Bioretention systems benefit from organic matter, soil microbes and plant diversity, as these elements can help improve system efficacy and longevity. However, getting these elements right on your site can be difficult.
This workshop will feature presentations from government and industry practitioners on their latest research and practices relating to bioretention biology and filter media.
The event will also provide an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and learnings, and connect with other stakeholders.
