Be part of cool new research into building catchment resilience
The survey to take part in an exciting resilience-building research study by Griffith University is now closed.
The project aims to gain knowledge of the community’s understanding of catchment health and what your preferences are on management and restoration. We are interested in how you perceive risk from natural hazards, how you view investment into nature-based solutions, and your experiences within your local creek catchment.
This research forms part of the Building Catchment Resilience project which combines advanced “multi-objective catchment modelling” with innovative landscape visualisation software to guide large-scale investment in land and waterway restoration activities.
The tools target investment in nature-based solutions that aim to make our waterways and the catchments they serve more resilient to extreme weather events.
The project is funded by the Ian Potter Foundation and is headed by Griffith University in association with the Queensland University of Technology and eight other partner organisations.
This survey will form an important part of a student’s Honours project being conducted at Griffith University.
