Kicking off Kedron Brook

We are excited to announce the launch of the Kedron Brook Flood Recovery project.
This exciting new project aims to restore the waterway and surrounding area to improve flood resilience, enhance local green space, and build community connections and stewardship.
The project is focused on a section of Kedron Brook bounded by Dawson Parade and Osbourne Road in the suburbs of Oxford Park, Everton Hills and Everton Park (check out our handy map!).
This reach was highly impacted during the 2022 floods and is at risk of ongoing instability without timely intervention.
We are currently in the earliest phases of the project and are actively engaging with all stakeholders to understand the opportunity for collaboration.
This project is being delivered in collaboration with major stakeholders Brisbane City Council, City of Moreton Bay and the Department of Environment and Science, with assistance provided by the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
